Disney on Ice

The Brigade are again organising a trip to Disney on Ice at the MEN Arena.

Tickets cost £22.00 wghich includes return coach fare.A deposit of £5.00 will secure a seat.

Would you like to subscribe to the Parish Magazine? For a minimum donation of £6 per year, you can have the magazine delivered directly to you, and you can keep up to date with all the news from the Church. 

A Date for your Diary

This is the day that the Bishop of Manchester will be visiting the Parish as part of his pilgrimage to every Church in the Diocese of Manchester.

The PCC have appointed a sub- committee to make the necessary arrangements for this event.

Picture of Shaw Church

Collette Bennett has painted a picture of Shaw Church and is willing to produce prints.

Some prints were sold at the Christmas Tree Festival but they are still available if anyone wishes to buy one.

The prints cost £12.00 and for each print sold a donation of £10.00 will be made to the Restoration Fund.

The recent Mothers Union fund raising effort at the Playhouse was a rip roaring success.

Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved a grand total of £1,124 was raised
